Good Purchase

"No funky technology or fancy smancy's with this glove. It is good quality leather that you need from a baseball glove. It may take a while for this bad boy to break in but when it does, you won't need another glove for a long time. Its durability is above the rest and you definitely won't feel it in your hand on those bad catches. It is a little bit on the heavier side but not too bad. The best glove I've ever had, better than an A2000."

Put It In Your Will

"I tried out a hand-me-down from Lenny Dykstra at a summer camp in high school and was hooked. That was in '94, so it's fifteen years old, and it's still going strong. Seven of those years were heavy use--about 60 games per year, but with a little care, this glove will last your lifetime and likely into your child's. No, these gloves don't come cheaply, but they are well worth the money. Mine has cost me less than $10 per year, and it's genuinely one of my prized possessions. This Rawlings is the only one I've owned, so I can't speak to the value of this glove relative to the more expensive models."
