"I bought this for my son who plays tackle football. He complained about slight bruising from hitting on his shoulders. He wore it to his first game this weekend and said he couldn't feel the shoulder pads hit his body when he tackled people. He said the pads stay in place better too. He thanks me everytime he wears it. Great product...Only negative comment would be size availability. I had to get him a large because there weren't any mediums available."
